A creepy young adult tale…
Set in a crumbling mansion, this story follows Seda, whose mum has just inherited the house. During a snowstorm a group of teenagers are stranded and come to the mansion for shelter. Seda is haunted by voices and knows that danger is lurking in the creepy mansion.
With echoes of The Shining, this book starts slowly, building the creepiness to a twist at the end (no spoilers!) This is quite a short book and I read it over Halloween which worked perfectly! It was a tiny bit slow for me but the end part was fantastic even though it wasn’t the ending I had thought was coming.
