What’s On The Box?! With Team Hurley

whats-on-the-box-with-team-hurley

November right through to January is pretty much TV heaven! We see the return of yearly favourites, festive specials and one of dramas. So our What’s On The Box segment becomes more and more difficult to whittle down to just 3 fabulous show, but we got there in the end…

The Apprentice

The Apprentice has been back on our screens for a while now, but it’s now getting down to a much smaller group and down to the real nitty gritty. As the group gets smaller their accidents become so much clearer and it is very hard to fool Sir Alan Sugar. In the last episode we saw Rebecca leave the show (although honestly we’re surprised she lasted that long) and there was a major mix up between soup and soap. Don’t worry though Karthick is still on hand for some fabulously funny one liners!

Although at times we find ourselves screaming at the TV at some of the terrible decisions being made, we can’t resist but watch on! Don’t miss the next episode this Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here

Yay! It’s finally back our favourite show this time of year has to be I’m A Celeb, who doesn’t love watching a handful of celebrities experience some horrifying challenges. This year will be no different and we are so excited to see what this series will bring. There is a great variety of celebrities this season including Carol Vorderman, actor Larry Lamb, former footballer Wayne Bridge, Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt and many more! The season kicked off to a flying start with some of the celebs jumping out of helicopters, others canoeing and some were even walking off of a plank at the top of a 32 storey building.

Last night we saw the first bushtucker trial of the series so far, this one had the most critters ever featured on the show, and also saw Scarlett Moffatt shout ‘Chicken Kebab’ as a motivational talk to get her though!

Unfortunately I’m A Celeb… won’t be on our screens tonight due to the England vs Spain football match, but it will be back tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1 with that awful eating challenge!

The King of Nature is back on our screens with Planet Earth II. We have been waiting for this one for a while and we have to say Sir David Attenborough has not disappointed! The fascinating nature show has explored some of the best natural environments around the world.

We have quite literally been on the edge of our seats (if any of you watched that snake chase scene you’ll know why), the fantastic pictures that the team on this project have got are so fascinating and beautiful that the hour long show zooms by. I would highly recommend tuning into this one for a fun, education and beautiful viewing experience. Planet Earth II is on Sundays at 8pm.
