This week I have some Netflix faves for you! I’ve been working all weekend and doing lots of late nights again this week so my Netflix has been on constantly in the office, here’s what I’ve been loving this week:
Spooks – this is an older (though not dated!) BBC programme about MI5 (UK secret service), as this was my previous career choice, this has always been super interesting for me and I’m now rewatching from the beginning for the third time. this just does not get old! The drama still has me on the edge of my seat and it’s just absolutely fascinating and gripping, if you haven’t watched this series already, it’s definitely one for a box set binge! and if you have seen it before, go for it again.
American Horror Story – Freak Show – I know this choice won’t be for everyone but I L-O-V-E American Horror Story, though it has to be said, this is my least favourite series so far. I’m about halfway through and I’m really not feeling it. I will keep watching but I think if this was a brand new series for me, I probably wouldn’t bother. Lets hope the new season gets back to the nerve jangling horror of the Asylum season!
and my film choice this week is the ever hilarious Stepbrothers! I’ve seen this film SO many times now (the first time I watched it, I actually woke B up laughing) and it still cracks me up. Will Ferrell never disappoints in the comedy stakes for me and the scene of the two of them whispering insults to each other like kids in bed still has me crying with laughter. If I’m ever feeling a bit blue and need a pick me up this is my go-to choice and it worked it’s magic again for me this weekend – love it!
