There has been serious TV schedule interruptions over the last few weeks with Euros 2016. It’s safe to say everyone at Team Hurley is very happy that it’s finally over! Let’s see what we’ve been watching at Team Hurley.
Love Island Finale
As of today there is officially a big love island shaped hole in the lives of everyone at Team Hurley. After 6 dramatic, tear jerking and funny weeks Love Island officially came to an end last night when it’s winners we’re crowned, in a cringe worthy live show presented by Caroline Flack. We saw some very questionable dance moves and it was pretty boring to be honest after all that drama we’ve had, but we just couldn’t miss it. We can’t say that we’re surprised Nathan and Cara won, they have been the only couple who have stuck together for the entirety of the show. Runners up Olivia and Alex we’re our favourites, after all the bad luck Olivia went through in the beginning. But we must say congratulations to the winners they did extremely well and Cara so very generously chose to split her £50,000 winnings with new boyfriend Nathan. Until next year Love Island!
Now we’re not huge sports fans here at Team Hurley, but how can anyone not like Tennis. It’s a Great British tradition and also gives us a great excuse to indulge in some cream tea! There were some real shocks in this years Wimbledon, particularly the early departures of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. Andy Murray did exceptionally well this year and won for the 2nd time! Congratulations Murray!
With the TV schedule officially back to normal (hurrah) we can get back on track with Corrie. This Friday sees Kylie Platt officially killed off of the hit soap. Kylie has been a great character throughout. Everything came to a head when Kylie murdered the father of her son Calum Logan, in a bid to protect her sister-in-law Sarah Platt. Emotions we’re said to be running extremely high on set and apparently we’re in for a real tear jerker. Tissues at the ready!
